A new consultation is £275 and a follow-up £200. Scans, tests and treatment are billed by the hospital or GenesisCare, and you will know what to expect before anything is booked.

A short course, typically three to eight sessions, as an outpatient. Each session is longer than standard radiotherapy because the plan is adjusted while you are on the machine.

Please do bring someone with you. Two sets of ears help, and the person with you can write things down while you listen.

Cancer that has spread to a small number of places (oligometastatic disease) from various primary sites can be suitable for MR-Linac SABR. If you are unsure whether your situation fits, ask; a short message is enough.
